This presentation will cover the HR Professional Certification process for both the HRCI PHR/SPHR and the SHRM-CP/SCP certifications.

Topics covered include:

Professional qualifications required
Exam dates and fees
HR Body of Knowledge covered in exams
Exam format and sample questions
Exam preparation tips and methods
Maintaining your credentials through certification

Attendees will be able to test the HR knowledge and learn about their strengths and areas to focus on if planning on sitting for either the PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification exam.

The session will be led by Dr. Brian Martinson from the Tarleton State University Department of Management with members of the Cross Timbers SHRM chapter sharing their recent experience with the certification process.
