• Knowing your region – quick look at the Labor Market Statistics of Stephenville and surrounding area trends.

• Retention best practices – making sure you are doing what you can to keep your existing workforce with you.


Adam Kern


Adam Kern facilitates collaboration and coordination among all partners who play a critical role in the success of the Texas workforce system, including universities, community colleges, local ISDs, economic development groups, and businesses.


From running a business at the age of 17, to spending more than a decade managing customer solutions teams for two of the world’s largest financial institutions and previously serving as a Recruiting Manager for Robert Half, Adam has had unique exposure working on both sides of the business spectrum – those seeking good work and those seeking good workers.


Since joining the North Central Texas Workforce Board team 6 years ago, he has been able to leverage his vast experience combined with the tools of the of the Texas Workforce Commission to assist DFW area businesses and impact regional job growth. A frequently sought-after speaker regarding labor market partnerships that benefit economic & workforce development for the North Central Texas region, he holds a Business Management Degree and is certified in Basic Economic Development by the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX).
